That's the biggest trouble with streaming installers, doesn't save the setup files to the computer. Whenever possible [usually e'er] I do the Save or Salve As to enable retaining the files for reuse later on.Installing Windows-based programs entails a couple of things, 1 is the decompressing [where needed] of the files needed to run the program, installing support files in Windows, creating the icons in the menus or on the desktop and the most disquisitional, creating Registry entries so Windows knows how to run the programs. This process is likewise the reason one cannot simply copy the programs' Folders to another computer.

That situation, which happened to me long ago, is exactly why I salvage almost all of the install EXEs, MSIs, ZIPs, etc. on my Data partition. Going forward, practise you lot plan on making routine Bone and Information partition total image backups onto external media? Sometimes a adept ol' restore trumps a clean reinstall and successive 3rd party programs reinstall.- My Computer

"I save almost all of the install EXEs, MSIs, ZIPs, etc. on my Information sectionalization"At that place'southward something to the saying that "Swell minds recollect alike' :)
I put all my installers for every program on my figurer on a partition and sync information technology to an external hdd in example of hard drive crash. I accept many sometime programs, some dating back 20 yrs, no longer out there and some mfr bloatware that I uninstalled but may 1 day use. Likewise, have older versions that piece of work meliorate than current updated versions. I don't delete whatever until I've installed and tested 'upgrades'.
I go and then far as to even download things like Firefox or Skype that machine update within themselves and copy the latest Windows 10 ISO in case I need an in place repair. It'southward better to have and non need than to need and not have.- My Computer

What makes you call up a fresh install will assistance?djdelarosa25 said:
Fresh installs are only needed if you have issues. If you lot regularly maintain pc eg disk cleanups, uninstall stuff non needed etc, then clean installing will not really benefit you. Days when you needed registry cleaners etc are long gone.
Are y'all having bug or are you just using 'last decade' mantra?
